We, the Punjabi people, are constantly fooled by the political leaders and the self-proclaimed “God-men” – but when will we become wise? Sikhs are a naive nation. Many have lived off the supreme sacrifices by the Shaheed martyrs. There is no doubt in this. The ones who give their lives taking bullets in the chests are different to those who slyly end up taking positions of power. People have fooled the nation. When will we start looking at the world with our own eyes, instead of looking at the world through the glasses of others? The Creator Lord made each individual unique; there is no other who will even share the same fingerprint. When will we recognise the power within, sharpen our mind and learn to form our own independent opinions?
